The First-Day Access Map

On Aarav's first day, he got shared passwords on a sticky note and logins just in case. Tara's first day started with a single printed page.

9:00 AM. Monday.

On Aarav's first day, months earlier, he had been given the team's shared passwords on a sticky note, the accounting tool's login "just in case", and the whole shared drive, finance folder included. Nobody had meant anything by it. It was simply faster than deciding.

"This is everything you'll be able to open," he said. "If you need something that isn't on it, tell me and we'll add it. That's not a test. It's how it's meant to work."
