IDENTITY UNDER ATTACK ยท EPISODE 29

The Monthly Identity Check

Jordan's first monthly check took ten minutes at everyone's desk. Most found nothing. Three people found the slow drift that starts stories like these.

Identity Under Attack, episode 29: The Monthly Identity Check. Fragment 29, the routine.

Nobody found an attack. They found drift: small, quiet, and easy to fix in time.

9:30 AM. Monday.

It was the first Monday of the month, and Jordan had blocked out ten minutes for everyone. Not a meeting: a checklist, the same for everyone, done at their own desks with a coffee.

Jordan had written the list on Friday, one line for each lesson that had cost them a bad morning, and taped a copy to the kitchen fridge as well.

Jordan's monthly checklist: two-step sign-in, recovery details, signed-in devices, connected apps, reused or leaked passwords, and access for people who left or changed role.

Six lines. Most people finished in under ten minutes. Most found nothing.

Three people found something.
